General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) announced appointed three new Company officers. Starting from 1st January, 2015, General Electric Company will have 195 officers all around the globe who will be leading large revenue-generating businesses or who are in critical functional roles, helping to drive company’s growth. The three new Company Officers that have been appointed are Michael Gosk, James Mock and Raj Thakkar.
Michael Gosk is 44 years old. He has been appointed as the Vice President, Global Tax Director for General Electric Capital. Michael Gosk joined the company in 2008 and he has been given a series of leadership roles in tax for company’s Capital. He served as GE Capital tax director recently. He is a Master of laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He has earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut in Hartford in Connecticut.
James Mock is 37 years of age. He has been appointed as the Vice President, Finance for General Electric Oil & Gas. James Mock joined the company in 1999. He was given a series of leadership roles in finance for General Electric Corporate Finance, GE Capital and GE Aviation. He served the company as Senior Executive, Finance for GE Oil & Gas. James Mock holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University in Canton in New York, and he is a graduate of General Electric’s Financial Management Program.
Raj Thakkar is 45 years old. He has been appointed as the Vice President, Supply Chain & Sourcing for General Electric Energy Management. Raj Thakkar joined General Electric in 1994 and has served the company by playing leadership roles in engineering, six sigma, manufacturing, supplier quality and sourcing for General Electric Consumer & Industrial, GE Energy Management and GE Energy Services. He served the company as Senior Executive, sourcing & supplier quality for GE Energy Management recently. Raj Thakkar is masters in general management from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a masters in electrical engineering from Cleveland State University.
